At 12 years old, the most classic Highland Park shows complexity and richness. Golden in color with amber reflections, the ample, fairly rich and fairly precise nose is marked by undergrowth, heather, sherry (light), vanilla, grilled barley and a slight smokiness. The corpulent and fresh palate confirms the more balanced nose. The elegant finish is medium in length. A smooth malt that evolves beautifully between heather, ash and a gourmet texture (vanilla-woody).
