Komikan gin from the Kanosuke distillery is made from shochu alcohol, a Japanese rice liquor, juniper berries, cypress bark and komikan from Sakurajima. Sakurajima komikan is the smallest type of tangerine in the world, which grows only in the volcanic soils of Kagoshima in Japan, where the Sakurajima volcano is located. Komikan is a resolutely fruity gin, imbued with all the sweetness and subtlety of Sakurajima komikan mandarin.
